26th May
Initially, we thought of making only 17 buns and keep the rest of the dough in the fridge to be used another day. Somehow, the yeast was still active at such low temperature that the dough actually rose in the fridge. Fearing that the dough would actually spoil, we decided to quickly knead and mold it into shapes. Thus, more buns and work.We baked till almost 1 a.m.. Unfortunately, the second batch buns were drier.
First batch: Trying some new shapes out ( The ones with 4 chocolate chips) |
Another tray of buns. Baked and ready to enter our stomach. |
Look what these became! Not very pleasant looking. Dad named them space invaders. :D |
Second batch: Sausage bun. Should add some chicken floss on top next time. |
Still need lots of practice. |
The one on the right is actually plain. |
Couldn't resist to take more photo. Close-up this time. |
Ok one last picture. Rather small and compact bun. Anyway, smile! :) |
