More buns in the making

Two bread making attempts on two different days.

24th May

Before entering the oven. I know they don't look nice. Wait till we top them with cheese.
Flower-shaped Pandan bun

After baking
Best looking Pandan bun on that day
Funny looking pillow bun :P
Closer look at the cheese topping
Not too bad afterall. Nice colour.

26th May

Initially, we thought of making only 17 buns and keep the rest of the dough in the fridge to be used another day. Somehow, the yeast was still active at such low temperature that the dough actually rose in the fridge. Fearing that the dough would actually spoil, we decided to quickly knead and mold it into shapes. Thus, more buns and work.We baked till almost 1 a.m.. Unfortunately, the second batch buns were drier.

First batch: Trying some new shapes out ( The ones with 4 chocolate chips)
Another tray of buns. Baked and ready to enter our stomach.

Look what these became! Not very pleasant looking. Dad named them space invaders. :D
Second batch: Sausage bun. Should add some chicken floss on top next time.
Still need lots of practice.
The one on the right is actually plain.
Couldn't resist to take more photo. Close-up this time.
Ok one last picture. Rather small and compact bun. Anyway, smile! :)

Cheese and Sesame Pillow Bun

Interesting shape? I got this idea from my dad.
Actually, I was expecting another shape but after the dough rises, somehow it turned into a weird pillow lookalike shape.

Topped with sesame seeds

Someone is impatient to eat me!
Topped with cheese
What do you think of the shape?

Cinnamon Roll

My fifth time making cinnamon rolls. My first time was a success, unfortunately not the second, third and forth time. After all the attempts, finally the bread turned out well thanks to the blessing of the Lord. Nice shape and the dough rose to my expected level. :DD

Enjoy the pictures taken by my sister and me.

Arranged side by side
My version of Adventist cinnamon rolls
Jam-packed
Baking in my Europa oven (supplied by my lovely dad!)
Can't wait to taste!
Cinnamon rolls also must vain a bit
The bottom part of the rolls. Looks like a bundle of flowers
I love the shape!
Looks good! It won't take long for these to be finished.
Different shapes
Waiting for the rolls to cool

The buns are waiting for their coffee topping
Here comes the topping!
Oops.. there appears to be a leakage. Blame it on my amateurish in sealing the dough. Need more practice on that.

Dinner rolls

After work on the 22nd of April, I rushed home to make 200 dinner rolls for my church members who were involved in Eden Food Fair. It was also my first time making such huge amount. Of course it wouldn't be made possible without the help of my family members.

Pictures ahead :)

Plain look but rich in taste

One on top of another in the container
200 fresh dinner rolls ready to be supplied

Apple Crumble Cheesecake

First attempt in making apple crumble cheesecake and it sure did turn out pretty good!

Let's get started
The say "An apple a day keeps the doctor away". Now the apple meets the cheese.
As quoted "Good order is a foundation of all things" - Let's crush those digestive cookies for the cake base
The topping
All baked and tanned
Definitely taste great and wanting for more!
