After browsing through my archived photos in my computer and since this blog has been quite dead for awhile, I decided to share this on my blog. Guess what?! Photos of my first attempt in making bread. I have no idea how to knead the dough, how much water to add to the flour and how the yeast actually works but I decided to give it a try. My grandma helped me in kneading part. She has a little bit of experience and I trust her because her dad used to bake bread and I heard from her that my great grandfather was quite good in making bread. Interesting right?

After 15 minutes, not excited, not anticipating any good results as I expect to throw away the bread.
Took out the bread from the oven, the bread was hard. Smell and tasted like raw flour.
Egg-like bread. |
Similar facial expression? >_< |
Even my furkids are not interested in those bread. If they are interested, you won't get to see the above similar facial expression photo. So what to do with the bread?
My dad and I cycled up to Air Itam Dam from our house and brought the hardened cute bread to share with the strays at the dam. Sharing is caring right?
It was a wise decision to attend a basic baking class after this attempt. My baking skills has improved tremendously and most importantly, my family and I (including my four furkids) get to eat healthy homemade bread, no preservative, no bread improver and softener.
