It's the weekend again! Time to bake!

Finally, the weekend is here again which means it's time to try out some new recipe. This time, I decided to bake potato bread. Got this recipe from foodnetwork.com
Mashing the potato

Magnolia milk for the bread

The mashed potato was added to the mixture (butter, shortening, sugar etc.)
Flour was then added to the mixture. Kneading was very easy using the electric mixer.

The dough before rising

The dough after 40 minutes.

Second proofing

The loaves have doubled in size. Time to bake!

Almost done.

B2, the QC/tester was waiting under the table to test my potato bread.

My first successful loaf. (Not so dense as compared to my previous bread)

Not enough potato! Must put more potatoes next time.

A morning walk at Chowrasta Market + Tarts production :)

It's the weekend! So I went to Chowrasta market with my grandma to get some ingredients for my first blueberry cheese tarts order. Discovered some cheap baking wares and a shop selling pastry ingredients. What a valuable discovery! We had curry mee for our breakfast. The curry mee was not as good as I expected but appearance wise it looked good. :(

I asked the uncle to give me more "taupok" as I didn't want the cockles.
I exchanged the prawns with more "taupok" from my grandma. (that is why u don't see any prawns in my curry mee)
After finished eating, we walked around. The morning market was very busy indeed!
Any vege lover?
Who loves Lap cheong??

Got any Tau Sar Pneah? >_<'''
We were heading to Carnavon Street to buy ingredients for my cheese tarts!
And I bought a 2kg Cream Cheese!! 250g of cream cheese is nothing compared to a 2kg one!
I made 2kg dough which was enough for about 60 pcs of tarts. So I made egg tarts too.
The dough for the blueberry crusts
Tarts filled with cream cheese

Next step, add the blueberry on top of the cheese.
And give some swirling effect using satay stick
The 20 pcs cheese tarts are ready.

Credits to my grandma for pressing the dough into the tart cups.
